The session was relaxed, laid back and enjoyable. Its focus on at-work yoga was beneficial and I am looking forward to using some of these techniques at my desk.” …..”they did a great job and appreciate them coming”………..” Very well done”.

“We recently brought Yoga’into our workplace for a weekly lunchtime yoga session.  From a work standpoint, instead of feeling lethargic in the afternoon, I find myself being able to concentrate and focus much better.  From a physical standpoint, the improvement in my strength, flexibility and balance is noticeable and has helped with the chronic aches and pains in my hip joints, back and wrists from the effects of sitting at a computer all day.  I certainly appreciate the convenience of being to practice yoga at work under the guidance of an expert instructor and we have received nothing but positive feedback from employees about the program and how it develops camaraderie and we are looking forward to future sessions!"

Corporate Yoga

Just one class of yoga a week can benefit you and your colleagues by helping to release stress and tension, improve your posture, leaving you calm, refreshed and re-energised. Karma Corporate can come to your office before, during or after work for a one-hour class. You just need a multi-purpose space in your office or building and about ten people to start a class. Karma Corporate classes are totally different from doing yoga at a gym or with a video. The class sizes are small so you'll get looked after, plus you'll be doing it with people you can have a giggle with.

Who can do yoga?

Anyone can do our yoga classes, even those who can't touch their toes. If you play sport or do regular exercise, you'll find that yoga will really make a difference. However, you must contact us if you have any medical concerns or injuries prior to doing any class. We will send consent forms to all participants so you can do this easily and confidentially.

What to wear?

Just a pair of shorts, leggings or tracksuit pants, a t-shirt or sweatshirt and bare feet.  Any comfortable clothes that you can move in easily will do. No shoes and socks are required. We offer a range of styles that aren't too strenuous either, so a shower afterwards isn't always necessary.

What you'll need?

A multi-purpose area big enough for your group to comfortably lie down in. A staff, meeting or boardroom works well and the area should be as quiet as possible. (If no area is available, we'll work with you to source an alternate space in your building or area.)

A group willing to commit to a 10 week course - 10+ students is ideal, but we can cater for smaller or larger groups. We recommend a maximum of around 20 to ensure individual attention. One hour at any time before or after work or at lunch (shorter and longer sessions also available). While mats are not essential, they do make it easier. For hygienic reasons, we offer mats at wholesale prices to companies and students. Or providing the area is carpeted, a bath-towel will suffice. You'll need to be located in or near London, Ontario. Participants don't need fitness or flexibility, nor the latest training gear.

About our teachers

We are very experienced in setting up corporate yoga programs that work. We only provide friendly, fully qualified and insured teachers who don't carry on with all that weird hippy stuff.

Investment

A term of classes can cost as little as $8 per person per class. Terms may be structured at either a per head rate or a per class rate (whichever is better for your company). Our clients either fully and partly subsidise the classes for their employees, or simply provide the space and time to allow the classes to go ahead without any financial contribution. We can help to devise the best way to structure the payments for your company.
